PART 2: HOMEOWNERSHIP SUCCESS STORIES

Hosted by the African American Collaborative and the Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS®

Date: Tuesday, August 5, 2025
Time: 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Dinner served at 5:30 p.m. Meeting starts at 6 p.m.
Location: Washington Heights United Methodist Church, 153 N Wood St, Battle Creek, MI 49037

Join us for the next installment in our homeownership series—an open and empowering conversation focused on the real-life experiences of Black and Brown community members who have recently purchased a home.

We’re inviting recent homebuyers to share what worked for them—what helped, what surprised them, and what they wish they’d known. If you’ve successfully navigated the process, your insights can help shape the path for others.

We also welcome those thinking about homeownership or currently navigating the process. This is your chance to learn directly from neighbors, connect with local resources, and gain guidance from those who’ve been there.

Why Attend?:

    • Share or hear homebuying stories
    • Tackle homebuying challenges
    • Interact with local real estate experts

The discussion will be open to the public. Dinner will be provided.
