The Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS®
The Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® (BCAAR) is a professional organization providing service and support to the real estate and housing industry in Calhoun County, Michigan.
The Association offers services to its members along with opportunities to network and grow their businesses. This is a great way to meet members and build relationships within the local real estate market. We issue news releases on the Association’s activities and member recognitions. We have frequent features in local newspapers and magazines offering information on real estate issues or new resources for the public.
We empower REALTORS® and partners by enhancing the proficiency of our members, enforcing ethical standards, and fostering cooperation within our industry, so we can serve our community by creating broad and thriving property ownership. We believe in the American dream of home ownership and protect personal property rights.
Our members work with local, state and national elected officials to provide information regarding housing issues that impacts the public and our industry. The Association also gives community grants to organizations which focus on family, children and housing. In addition to all of this, we host home buying workshops on every aspect of the process from financial education workshops, credit repair training and tips for finding the right loan program.
We encourage you to use our member directory of REALTORS® and Affiliate members. These professionals will help connect you with the top experts in the industry and locate the most current listings of homes that are for sale in the area. Who we are
We are an Association of REALTOR® Members, Appraiser Members, and Affiliate Members serving the housing and real estate industry. We are members of both the Michigan Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. We serve Battle Creek, Marshall and the entirety of Calhoun County.
As such, our members adhere to a strict code of ethics protecting consumers, community and private property rights. We are also a member of the Southwestern Michigan Regional Information Center, a corporation of REALTOR® Associations in southwest Michigan who share multiple listing data.
With all these tools and connections, we bring buyers and sellers together to achieve the goal of home ownership.
What we do

Christina Rigel is the Membership and Marketing Coordinator for the Association.
She manages all the social media, advertising, events planning and membership records. Christina became apart of the Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® team May 2023.
