Free Home Buyer Education Seminars
When it comes to buying a home, if you know nothing about the process, it can sometimes be confusing on where to start. In this fast paced online world, it is easy to get into information overload quickly.
Where does one start when you are unfamiliar with the process? Or worse yet, you know you will need to qualify for a loan, but you know that your credit is in trouble and you need guidance on how to fix this?
The first recommendation is to speak with a REALTOR® and get expert advice. They are the professionals in the industry, and 88% of buyers in the USA purchased their home through a real estate agent or broker in 2017, a share that has steadily increased from 69 percent in 2001.
However, what do you do when you feel you are not ready to talk to a professional, but just really want answers? Maybe you are uncertain whether home ownership is the right choice for you, or perhaps you are just embarrassed about your finances, and want to learn how to fix them first? Having credit problems can be frustrating, and finding your way to the right answers can sometimes be stressful.
Have no fear! The Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® is here to help!
In 2017, we launched community education programs to help prospective home buyers learn about the process of home buying, fixing credit and budgeting finances in a free public seminar forum to pass along vital information and answer questions. These seminars are great no-pressure events to meet and interview REALTORS®, loan officers and other professionals in the industry in a comfortable setting.
BCAAR will be continuing these events. More will be scheduled to meet demand.
