The Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® Gives Back to the Community
2019 Grant Recipients
The Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® believes in supporting Calhoun County non-profit organizations to make our community a better place to live. REALTORS®, appraisers and affiliate members work to build relationships with community leaders and with local, state and federal government officials to enhance our community’s quality of life for its residents.
The Association’s Public Relations/Special Events Committee strives to provide the public with information about the real estate market and its involvement with community organizations. The Public Relations Committee established a grant request program in 2005 that serves Calhoun County residents in the areas of housing, families, children, and/or community enhancements. The Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® has given over $119,000 back to the community through its grant program since its inception.
In 2019 the following non-profit programs received grant money from the Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS®:
- Interact Club in Marshall
- Salvation Army of Battle Creek
- Substance Abuse Council
- Forks Senior Center
- The Arc of Calhoun County
- Aequitas Mobility Solutions
